This was a surprise visit, this place is a gem in this part of Japan, supposedly the clearest sky for star gazing. Like a traditional onsen the plan starts with welcome drink and elaborate explanation by the hostess in the room about the facilities. Rooms are Japanese family rooms with Tatami flooring and futon as bedding. The hot water spring is natural with sulphur smell makes the skin glow. The elaborate dinner follows with multiple courses. Next morning breakfast is again traditional Japanese each item is arranged artistically. The location, the ambiance and food.. perfect.
