Borgo Le Caselle

We have just spent a week in this lovely place in the mountains. We stayed in the larger 3 bedroom apartment , although there were only two of us. This was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The heating and hot water is all done via the wood fire which made the whole place nice and cosy as it was a little chilly some nights. The views from the windows and terraces were simply wonderful and Bettina was very helpful and welcoming, giving us maps and information about the area.and supplying a very welcome bottle of red wine. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfortable . The peace and quiet was a welcome contrast to our first week in Rome and Pompeii and the coastal resorts were very quiet too. We tended to spend most of the day out sightseeing, then stayed in at night as the roads around are a bit tricky at night and the nearest resteraunts and shops were some distance away A lovely place to stay overall, way off the beaten track and very relaxing Thank you
