Really like living in Verona with apartments rather than "hotel rooms." Ask for a room with Adige River views and you can see sunrise and sunset. Ideally located. Roomy with nice bathrooms. As noted, there is no regular room service; you will need your own shampoo and conditioner; there is a kitchen where you can get coffee but no breakfast provided. If you are ok with all that this is a great place to stay. It was the second most expensive place of the five areas we visited (Rome was more expensive) as well. But near everything you are going to likely want to see.
