33 reviewsWe stayed here for one night on July 5, 2019 for a quick stop in Venice. The B&B is a short 10 min. drive or bus ride from the airport. There was free parking for our rental car. We took the bus right across the street to Piazzale Roma in Venice for about 3 euro roundtrip. We bought the tickets at the B&B front desk. The bus was air conditioned and on time and runs until about 11 pm so no problem getting back after dinner, unless you get lost in Venice and miss the last bus like we did. Even then it was a short cab ride back to the B&B. Our room was clean and comfortable with reasonable air conditioning in spite of the record breaking heat. The best part was the friendly staff and wonderful breakfast with cappuccino, made to order eggs and pastries.

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.
