26 reviewsWhile touring in Italy travelling by train we spent two nights at 216 Venice. The B&B is ideally located for anyone planning to visit the main part of Venice wanting to visit the main tourist attractions there without paying the very inflated prices for accommodation in that part of city. 216 Venice is located in an apartment block on the 1st floor which is a 5 to 10 minute’s walk from Venice Mestre Railway Station, with about 6 trains per hour to Venice Santa Lucia which is the main railway station in the main part of Venice next to the Grand Canal. The train journey is between 10 & 15 minutes (depending on the calling points of the train) between the two stations making it a very easy commute between the B&B and the main area of Venice. On arrival at the apartment we needed to phone the very friendly lady who runs the B&B as she wasn’t aware of our planned arrival time so might be worth emailing or phoning the lady to let her know of the planned arrival time. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed in which had had two good night’s sleep and with a complimentary bottle of water in the room on our arrival. Breakfast was a continental breakfast served in the lady’s kitchen. We had very good Wi-Fi during our stay.
