B&B Biennale Venezia

My wife Elife booked this guest house, and I just wanted to state what a great little guest house this actually is. Our flight from Bournemouth was on a Thursday evening, so we didn't actually get through passports until after 1030pm and then had to catch the water taxi. After speaking through email to Afronso prior to arriving, he provided very clear instructions on how we could get to the Biennale. The best route was via the water taxi. Alfonso gave us very precise instructions on where to get on the taxi (Airport), and where to get off (Lido and then St Elena). This was followed by instructions of what to look for, colours of building etc which would take us to the actual place we were staying. Finally we arrived at 1am on Friday morning, and as you can imagine got to bed almost straight away. Unfortunately the room was very cold on arrival, and the extra blankets provided were really appreciated as temperatures that night were in the minus figures. The next morning we contacted Alfonso and mentioned about the coldness of the room, and he said he would fix things. Sure enough, when we arrived back there on Friday evening, it was nice and warm. Alfonso clearly cares about his customers as he was eager to help us. The location was around a 30 minute walk to St Marco's square, but there was plenty to look at on the way there. The one thing we would say though is Arsenale water taxi stop is around a 15 minute walk. For anyone able enough to walk this distance, this is probably a better location to use as a stop from the airport, and again using for getting back to the airport after the end of your stay. So would we recommend this guest house: Of course, it's excellent. As you can see from what I have written so far, Alfonso is a great host, and we will definitely look to stay here again when we go to Venice next.
