To be frank after reading the reviews here, I was quite afraid of how the stay would be, but it turned out to be quite pleasant. We stayed in a triple bedroom. The room was very clean with all essential amenities including air conditioning. The staff was also very nice, they let us do an early check in and also provided coffee on request. Overall a good experience.

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.
