Agriturismo Dolceacqua

We chose this location for its proximity to the ferry to Venice, in Punta Sabbioni. Going to Venice at 6.30 in the morning as the city's lights are on and the sun lights from underneath the horizon is a magical experience and one I would recommend to anyone. Venice is still devoid of tourists and street vendors of all kind and for a couple of hours you share the streets only with photographers and locals going to work. Coming back to the subject of the review, there is an ample car park, that feels safe, staff is very warm and helpful, although their knowledge of foreign languages are somewhat limited - it seems it helps to speak German, but English will still get you through. The bar is open till late, they will serve some local ales as well, which may be a bit on the pricey side, as you probably expect. Unfortunately I cannot review the full breakfast as we were in Venice at the times they were serving it. But I can say that they made us a special breakfast when they learned that we would be leaving very early and left it for us overnight. I think that speaks a lot about the kind of people who work at Agroturismo Dolce aqua.
