We had New Year's Eve dinner at Rifugio Petina, which is owned by the same family as Maso Tais. We did not stay overnight but just had a lovely dinner. We wanted to get away from the usual stereotypical event for this night, and the Rifugio was a good choice. To get there we drove uphill on a narrow road, being very attentive to slippery parts of the roadside. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Nearing midnight the guests went outside in the freezing cold and we had a toast with mulled wine, and then at midnight we toasted with prosecco around a roaring fire. We would love to do this again.
