It took us some time to write this review, because we wanted to make sure to properly put into words just how incredible our wedding at San Pietro Sopra le Acque was. From our initial meeting with Sara, we felt there was something special about this venue and our instincts were absolutely right. As a couple from the United States, we planned our wedding entirely remote, which at the start was a nerve wracking concept. However, Sara made the entire process so easy and seamless from start to finish. She was so communicative and thorough with all aspects of our three-day event, from connecting us with the best local vendors to making recommendations for our dinner selections when we were unable to visit in person for our tasting. From the moment we stepped foot on the property it was every bit as beautiful as we had dreamed. The venue not only blew us away with its beauty and location, overlooking incredible views of Umbria, but also with the amazing staff that made us and our guests feel right at home. Sara and the rest of the staff truly cared to make every day of our event so special and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. If you are a couple planning a destination wedding, we recommend San Pietro Sopra le Acque a million times over. Our wedding is something we will forever cherish and never forget.
