Bb Albergo Lamanna

This B&B is located in San Vito a few kilometres east of Taranto. It is a large and beautiful 3-storey house with large, comfortable rooms. I stayed there twice : the first time in an en-suite room for 2 nights and afterwards in a room with a shared bathrrom for one night. The first time, I had booked a single room with a shared bathroom and breakfast for €23 a night and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a nice en-suite room. Both rooms had a comfortable double bed, fridge, TV, air conditioner, radiators, wardrobe, two small tables, one comfortable chair, balcony and a good bathroom. The lady owner is particularly nice and started out by giving me an aperitivo consisting of three pieces of warmed-up bread, two pizza-like pieces of bread, cheese, tomatoes, olives and a glass of wine. The second time, we give me a coffee and a piece of cake. There is good, reliable and fast wifi with a very secure password. There is breakfast in the morning, but it is rather industrial. It comprises of industrial croissant, industrial toast, yoghurt, fruit and both coffee and tea, possibly also cake, which is delivered to your room on a tray. It is a shame that the room has no proper eating table with an accompanying chair. There is easy free parking in the street outside the B&B. The local beach has lovely sea and you can easily go along the coast road by car to Gallipoli passing through towns and villages with beautiful light blue seawater. On your arrival, you should be aware that you use the intercom that is on the right. I would definitely stay here again. This is a fabulous B&B.
