Villa Il Poggio

We stayed in the sunflower apartment. The kitchen was rustic but in keeping with the setting, very pretty and equipped with everything we needed. Outside the apartment there is a lovely gravelled patio area, great for morning coffee, with views over the gardens and pool. There is a BBQ area by the pool which we used every night! Elisabetta was very helpful and obviously works very hard to keep the villa, pool and gardens beautifully presented. We are dog people so we loved having the dogs come and say hello to us, but if you are not a dog person don't worry as they are all very friendly. Take mozzie spray! as expected for the area and time of year we needed it. Great value and perfectly located to visit surrounding area and places such as Montepulciano and Siena My partner and I absolutely loved it and will return for a longer stay
