72 reviewsCant be more pleased to have stayed at Modicarte for 3 days as a base in the area. Tasteful low key modern architecture, thoughtfully planned comfortable rooms with artistic touches set above olive groves and in midst of greenery, with Modica laid out before us from the deck area, delicious dinners on request and the charming hosting (and cooking) by ex-chef Maurizio. Food and wine was excellent, included breakfast excellent (light in italian style but very high quality) yet just 5 minutes from the Center of Modica. Cooking used local product, including the property's own olive oil, olives and vegetables, and was an education in the traditions of this area. We enjoyed the products of the cooking classes but did not attend. Just a wonderful relaxing experience in this beautiful area with a friendly, interesting and always helpful host giving us a window into the culture. We highly recommend this B&B
