10 reviewsWe traveled with another couple and all of us agree this place is great! The rooms are very large and comfortable, as is the modern bathroom. The bed is very comfortable, and is the only king bed I have encountered in our travels in Italy. This was a very quiet property, and one of the only places we stayed and did not need earplugs.There is a large selection of their wines in the room when you arrive, which you are free to open and consume. The fridge is filled with water, soda and snacks, which you are also free to consume. We were greeted on our arrival by the very friendly owner/host, and enjoyed our interactions whenever we ran into him as we wandered the property. Our first night, we were so tired from our drive, and what with the wine, crackers and fresh fruit in the room, we decided to have supper in the room. When the owner saw this, he brought a tray of cheeses for us to complete the menu. Delicious! The breakfast was very good, in a very pleasant, expansive room, and we were asked what time we wanted breakfast each morning. It was just a wonderful experience. You need to have a car to stay at this winery, because meals, except for breakfast, are not available. But if you do have a car, the town is nearby, with good restaurant choices. And the nearby hill towns are good day trips. Fun place to stay!
