I must admit, I’m not a fan of big European capitols, but RomeHello was so nice that it actually changed my experience. The rooms, bathrooms, café, lounges, etc. are all fantastic, and the staff is super helpful. The wifi too is super strong; great for a nomad. I was iffy about staying in that part of Rome — people always say anything near Termini is dodgy — but it was honestly perfect. I was able to walk from the train in like 15 minutes, and access to greater Rome was still easy. Two points: The hostel doesn’t have a buzzy social vibe, which I didn’t mind but I know some people really want. Also, it’s quite pricy. If you’re not looking to make friends and don’t mind the cost, it’s a really, really comfortable, easy place to stay.
