Biroracing

We stayed here twice during our stay in Italy and were made very welcome by the friendly family who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are simple but clean but with good aircon and radiators to keep you warm in winter. The bathrooms are well appointed. Breakfast (for now, due to renovations) is a minute away in the excellent Valentini's - a marvellous place to watch Roman coffee culture. You pay yourself (keep receipts) and the Biro owners reimburse you at check-out. The Conca d'Oro tube is a ten minute walk away and a direct line to Termini makes this a good and economic base for a stay in Rome. It's a bit tricky to find the B&B but from the entrance at the front of Valentini's turn right and you come to a block of flats. Biro is on the further side on the 3rd floor (plaque outside, ring the bell and they'll let you in).
