Hotel Ginepro is on the outskirts of Naples and this makes it a good base for sightseeing. It is on a busy road but the rooms face away from the road and are very quiet. Our room was neat, clean and nicely furnished and I suspect it was soundproofed since it was silent at night. Breakfast is simple but is made personally by the host who is utterly delightful and goes out of his way to help. He was happy to have English guests and spent time trying to chat to us in our language. He even went so far as to jet wash our rental car when I simply asked if I could borrow a bucket to wash off a little tree sap! The location is good for driving to Herculaneum and Pompeii (30 to 45 minutes) and is quite good for getting to the Metro station at Chiaiano for the train to Naples. We loved it here and would happily revisit if we were in the area again.
