B&B Lieti Colli

My wife and I recently spent five nights at the B&B Lietti Colli, situated on a hillside just inland from Porto Recanati. A little tricky to find - our GPS took us to a different address about 300 metres short of the B&B. The situation is very convenient, only ten minutes drive from the beach at Porto Recanati, and with easy access to the coastal motorway. There are numerous hill towns worth a visit in the area reminiscent of Tuscany. The pretty coastal towns of Sirolo and Numana are also not far away. The owners Amadeo and Ottilia were extremely kind and went out of their way to cater for our every need. It felt more like staying with family than people we had only recently met. Amadeo speaks good English having worked for an international company for many years and is a mine of information about the local area. Breakfasts on the terrace were superb with a wide range of local pastries, jam and even ham and cheese. The rooms look onto the garden and are comfortable and immaculately clean.
