It is a beautiful hotel! Nice and clean room with old characteritics. We had a nice view in the street! It is a beautiful small city! Only the waiter at the restaurant was a bit chaotic. But at the reception very good!! A nice swimmingpool 

Nice hotel with atmosphere you get in a building which probably is several hundred years old. The staff was very kind. Don´t expect fancy luxury, but there is what you need. The hotel is situated in a medieval village where some parts is dated XII century, but there is also an Etruscan tomb- in quiet medieval village and kind service. There are so few tourists that people look after you. The locals meet in the evening in small groups on the streets. You have a feeling that the time has been stopped there for a couple of decades.
The restaurant in the hotel is very good. Food is tasty the wine list is well chosen. The young waiter was very competent. There is an older colleague who was a little heavy to collaborate with. – He did a lot make us take the wine of the house he brought by mistake. I gave up getting the wine I wanted, but the red wine of the house was a very positive surprise.  We did choose to eat there all three evenings we stayed in the hotel the total bill was 220 € incl wine for to two persons

A pretty, well run, intimate, well-positioned hotel in a beautiful small Italian town. It just about sums up the Antico Hotel del Pomarancio. Some rooms have splendid ceiling paintings, most rooms have stupendous views across the rolling Tuscan hills. I have stayed there quite often, I look forward to staying there and have never been disappointed so far.

Nice stay in pomerance!

We enjoyed our stay in Pomarance; the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good and the hotel very clean. The only problem was the pool: the main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool after having spent our holiday so far without one but arrived at the hotel and had to ask about the pool when it wasn't mentioned, they then told us it was closed for cleaning (it wouldn't be cleaned for a few days) and nothing was done to rectify this when it was a problem for us; complimentary wine or 10€ off our bill would have sufficed but instead the pool problem was concealed until we asked. I would recommend this hotel yes, but ensure the pool will be open if this is a problem for you.

The staff are VERY pleasant but from there on in there is not very much good to say about this hotel,which gets worse from year to year.It is In need of a major overhaul and in need of a clean up. If you like looking at a very beautiful view over the top of terrace coverings, seriously spattered with pigeon droppings then this might be for you.
If you enjoy really terrible breakfasts eating yesterday's cake, in very meagre slices with little else, then you will feel at home.
It used to have decadent charm but the charm is wearing very very thin.
