324 reviewsOur stay at Five Roses could not be bettered. Flavia was the most helpful of hosts, she went out of her way to look after us, and enabled us (both vegetarians) to enjoy meals at two excellent, traditional restaurants. She also advised us to visit some interesting sights we might not otherwise have visited. Our room, the Yellow Rose, was enormous and very comfortable. Flavia has refurbished these 17th century rooms in authentic, yet up to the date style. The window overlooked the street cafes, previously mentioned, but the soundproofing, once the window was shut, was 100%. The bathroom was also spacious and beautifully equipped and spotless. We slept well in the large bed, and the room (almost an apartment with seating and dining areas, kitchen sink, fridge, kettle, crockery etc) had good lighting, which is not always the case. You are able to choose in advance, from a wide range, whatever you want for your breakfast. Five Roses is heartily recommended.
