I most admit I am a bit biased since we have stayed at this hotel so many times. But on the other hand: why do we "always" return every summer to Hotel Casella? Well, it is several reasons: The atmosphere at the hotell is very relaxed and friendly. The staff is outstanding! Compared to many Italian hotels the breakfast is diversed and nice, and the dinner is absolutely recommendable. The hotel has a small, but nice pool area. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the beach or the city center of Pietra Ligure. The rooms are ok, but that is fine for us who just use them to relax a bit and sleep.
