We very nearly didn't consider this hotel as the price was under half of everywhere else in the area! There must be something wrong with it we thought - but it was fantastic. From the initial drive up the lane and being met by what looked like a younger version of Carson in Downtown Abbey, he proudly took us to our room which was lovely. The pool is one of the best we've found at a resort and the restaurant and bar area very pretty and quaint. We will definitely stay again! A couple of useful tips:- Location: We put the postcode into Google Maps and it sent us down a horrible track quite some distance from the hotel. It was stupid of us because we were so busy obeying Google that we completely missed a large sign pointing to the right! So, after crossing the narrow bridge, take the first right turn and don't go further on like we did! Sockets: We'd assumed that all sockets in Europe were the same but they're obviously not. The majority are like the picture but we did find one of the type to fit our adaptor in the room down by a bedside.
