A bit off the beaten track which is what attracted me in the first place. Difficult to find for taxi driver so if you're arriving this way from Verona ensure you have downloaded a detailed map. About 2 km uphill walk from Negrar, which I enjoyed, but others may need their own transport. Good views over some of the vineyards of Valpolicella. Cinzia and Diego were very friendly and helpful, including providing me a lift to and from the venue of the wedding which I was attending. For nature lovers, there were Black Redstarts, Serins, Cirl Bunting and Italian Sparrows from my room as well as Alpine Swifts overhead and Hoopoes on a local walk.
