I just spent two nights at the Borghetto di Brola. It is a fantastic place to stay and spend time, I can recommend it to everyone. The rooms are extremely modern and clean, the Borghetto is beautiful, situated in the middle of the vines and olive trees on a hill overlooking Modigliana and the valley. The breakfast is delicious, weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the views over the first coffee of the day. The hosts are really caring, they are locals who are very familiar with people and the region and explain everything and answer all the questions you may have. The Borghetto also has a restaurant. Unfortunately it was closed when we were there (it is seasonal and I recommend checking in advance). Overall, thumbs up, I will definitely come back.
