Villa Pastori

Stayed here with my partner and some friends for a few nights. The apartment was great; a short walk into Mira, very close to a supermarket (~3 minute stroll), and very good bus service into Venice and Padua. It is perfect if you want a quiet retreat with good access to explore northern Italy. It was very clean and comfortable, and was perfect for us. However there were a couple of things which needed to be made clearer, and unfortunately we missed out on using some of the facilities due to this: - The host did not show us all of the shared areas (we were shown the bikes and our third of the shared terrace, and all the rooms inside the apartment), but did not mention or show the villa gardens, BBQ area, table tennis etc behind the main property that the host was staying in. We were given the impression that the facilities we were shown were the only ones available to us, but later discussion with the owner revealed we could have used them. - Check out was actually 10am in the welcome pack, however the booking service we used stated 11am. The host did accommodate this after showing them the original booking, although initially the blame for this mistake was on something outside of their control and we were told that as it was in the welcome pack inside the villa, that was the what was when we needed to leave. I believe the listing has been updated now to reflect the same time as the welcome pack - To get to the upstairs double bedroom you must go through the open plan upper landing area which has 3 of the beds in it (not very private for the 3 who stayed in those beds, thankfully wasn’t an issue for us as we are all close friends!) This probably would not be an issue for most, but something to bear in mind if travelling with people who like their privacy. You can sort of see this in the photos but it’s worth an extra mention. All in all It was a lovely break, but it’s just a shame that there were a few misunderstandings that lead to us not getting the most out of it.
