Annabell

Hotel Annabell is a family run hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Regele family keep everything in top shape, very clean and orderly. They are a pleasure to speak with and will make your stay comfortable and memorable. They are always happy to see what they can do to make their guests happy. The rooms are a good size, ours was very clean, with a great shower with plenty of hot water. We had a nice balcony with two chairs, a table and a small drying rack for wet bathing suits - and a great view to the Dolomites. There's a TV with German and Italian language channels, but in Meran who watches television? The pool and sauna area was also very clean and enjoyable, with plenty of towels. The hotel is also bicycle friendly and there is a place to store your bikes at night. A common garden area with lounges and a "Hollywood" swing is available too. Breakfast is included and has a nice selection of fresh breads, cereals, yogurt, fruit salad, soft-boiled eggs, meats and cheeses. Home made cake and apple strudel are also available. Juice, water and coffee are offered as well. All very tasty and enjoyable on the quiet outdoor patio. Our host was happy to make us a "Bauerntoast" sandwich, washed down with beer and Aperol when we asked. A bus stop is very close by, but you can also walk through the gorgeous neighborhoods full of fantastic villas on your way to the center of town. Parking at the hotel is limited and a bit tight, but you'll manage. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Annabell and we will definitely be back. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week-long stay, and a great value. Thank you family Regele, see you next time!
