Garibaldi

First of all, our host, Isabella, was AMAZING!! She went out of her way to meet us at the bus/train station and took us to the apartment! This was sooo much appreciated! The apartment was IMACULATE! It was adorable, cozy, comfortable and felt immediately like 'home!' It was decorated with modern and very tasteful furniture and paintings.It was exactly the right size for our 5 night stay. I am not adding photos because the apartment was exactly as it was shown in the pictures on the website. The bathroom was squeaky clean, as was the rest of the apartment. The kitchen area had all the cooking equipment and utensils necessary for us to prepare and cook our own meals. There was a smal refridgerator which seemed to fit everything well enough. The bedroom area had a big armoire to hand our closes and a few shelves, as well. There was a small table to eat at and a flat screen tv. The bed was super comfortable and I slept even better here than at home! A real plus was that there was a woman who came in and cleaned the apartment daily, and provided us with clean towels every two days. So, every day, the bed was made up nicely, the floors were mopped, trash emptied, and everything looked as when we had arrived on the first day! I got very spoiled by this service, as it is not a hotel, I didn't have expectations of it being cleaned until we left! The woman who cleaned our room was so cheerful and friendly, so it was always nice to see her come around! If we were in the apartment, she was always flexible and came back at a later time. The apartment is located just a few minutes from the city centre, and is central to everything! We were able to hop on a train and visit the next town, and also able to take the bus easily from Palermo to Marsala. I cannot stop raving about how much I loved this cute apartment in Marsala! Both my husband and I agreed that we would LOVE to live in it, and we both loved the city very much!
