Hotel Oleandro

This island has the most amazing water! We came here for snorkeling and St Andrea is good for that. Via Booking, we found Hotel Oleandro. I must say that we were overwhelmed by the view! Astonishing! Hotel Oleandro is at the top on a hillside, looking out over the ocean. Every room has this view, as well as the restaurant. We had all our meals here; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good food at good prices. They also provide glutenfree food without hesitation! The Spaghetti Vongole is to die for! Good chef. Rooms are simple, but nice and clean. This is not a Hotel for children I would say (no pool) or persons who has a hard time moving by feet. Stairs all over, and steep hillside path to the ocean. There is a private stone beach, reached by stairs down the mountain (about 10 min). But there is also a path (about 10 min also) to sand beach and rocks for snorkeling. You can as well walk along the rocks (about 15 more minutes) to St Andrea, where there is restaurants and a sand beach, and more snorkeling spots. At the evening I would recommend the normal road to St Andrea, walk about 25 min, by car about 5 min. Hard to park though. You can easily park your car outside Hotel Oleandro on arrival.
