Hotel Gallo Nero is the kind of place that you can't stop dreaming about returning to, once you've been there. It's difficult to fully put into words what gives Hotel Gallo Nero its magic. Of cause there's the beautiful view of Sant'Andrea and the shimmering sea - like a slowly moving postcard. And then there's the well-curated dinner served each and every night. It must also be mentioned that the hotel keeps a lush garden that adds a fairy tale and natural charm to the place. On top of all this you almost immediatly feel at home there. Almost like you are visiting old friends, but at the same time there something top professional about the way you're met. It has to to with the dedication and even pride that all of the staff members radiate. Also, as the days drift by, you get an impression of each of the waiters, each with his or her own style and humor, and this adds to the homely atmosphere. When we visited in the end of May-start of June the hotel was fully booked with revisiting guests from Austria, Germany and nothern Italy. The hotel even made a anniversary cake for a couple who visited the hotel during the last 25 years. I can only dream that me and my husband will be served such a cake. We've already started to dream about our next visit.
