If you wish to explore Mantua and the surrounding points of interest ( Sabbioneta, the Mincio Natural Park, etc. ) I suggest to stay in this traditional rustic place. Very spacious, simple but comfortable and clean rooms with large bathrooms. Reasonable choice of salty & sweet food at breakfast. We had the chance to try the restaurant too and we found very tasty local dishes : I'l suggest the " risotto alla pilota" ( rise - vialone nano - cooked in Lambrusco wine and sausages ) accompanied by Rodomonte 58 ( dry Lambrusco wine ). There is also a swimming pool for those who visit Cà Guerriera in summer time. Just a note : the double bed is made of two single beds and that makes you feel rather uncomfortable when you sleep.
