Surely one of the most atmospheric B&Bs in Lecce; entrance from the street in the old town to a 16th century ground floor room, high enough to accommodate a gallery with a double bed, cross-vaulted and dark. We were there in April; in summer this must be one of the coolest (in all senses of the word) in town. Fully equipped kitchen, very clean facilities, utility room with ironing board, WiFi, smart TV etc. Breakfast is Italian d.i.y. from a stocked fridge, Apulian bread, honey, jams and yoghurt. Fabio, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Includes, on request, two bicycles on which you can speed through this beautiful town like the locals.
