I Viticci

I planned my wedding at i Viticci for a year, all the way from Australia, and in this year I never imagined it to be as marvellous, remarkable and magical as it turned out to be. This review can’t even do the memories that I have justice, and I have Donatella, Iacopo and Claudia (from Blossomy events) to thank for this. I will forever be grateful! Planning a wedding in Tuscany from Australia was not easy and there were some moments leading up that I was so stressed out that I wished I had chosen a simpler and closer solution. What I didn’t realise is that I had nothing to worry about - in the hands of Donatella and Iacopo, everything was covered! I booked the agriturismo out for four days for my and my husband’s family surrounding the days of the wedding. From the first day until the last we were all in heaven. The location is amazing, and the agriturismo itself is picturesque, rustic and beautiful - everything you picture when you think ‘Tuscan Country House’. But the thing that stood out the most was the hospitality we received. They organised things for each evening leading up to the wedding to keep our families busy and VERY well fed. Pizza and beer the first night, and a four course meal the night before the wedding. Breakfast every morning. Please note that all food is made on the premises and DELICIOUS. Tuscan at its best. And all at such an affordable price. We had a blast! Now about the wedding itself. It rained on the day (not a lot, but enough for us to have to make the decision to move the majority of the event indoors) and (though I may have had a little cry the morning of) this didn’t stop the event from being nothing short of AMAZING. Words from my guests were: ‘best food I have ever had at a wedding’. ‘Best wedding I have ever been to’. ‘One of the funnest days of my life’, and myself and my husband agree with it all. The food was outstanding and SO MUCH (again, everything made on the premises ‘0 km’), the wine and drinks were abundant, the wedding cake to die for, service was fabulous. I don’t think there was one person out of the 100 guests that didn’t enjoy themselves. Everyone danced until 1am and nobody wanted the night to end. A stand out also was the baby sitting service for kids that they provided on the night. Animation for the kids, balloon modelling, activities, everything to keep them occupied so their parents could enjoy themselves. Even the kids didn’t want the night to end! Thank you so much Donatella and Iacopo, Iacopo’s Mum and the staff of ‘I Viticci’. You have something very special and offer an exceptional service that other businesses should learn from.
