60 reviewsRifugium is the perfect place for a getaway to relax and restore. It has an amazing view, our room was very clean and spacious (bedroom, walk-in closet, big bathroom, kitchenette), the appliances were good and it had a lovely terrasse. The pool is clean and lovely. Daniele, the owner, is a great host and gives advice on restaurants and winerys in the area. We felt very welcome. You can buy beer and wine and even his own olive oil. The road to get there takes some getting used to (very narrow, dirt road) but after all, is totally fine. Personal advice: although the restaurants in the area are totally amazing, don't go out for dinner every night. Take some food up there and enjoy the peace, quiet and atmosphere at night. If we ever make it back to Tuscany, we will definitely go back there!
