After having not visited the Hotel Britannia for a few years, I was thrilled that on my return, the hotel was the same charming, friendly, and wonderful place to have chosen for my family holiday. Having spent many a happy childhood summer here with my family, I returned with my husband and four month old baby, and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more accommodating with us. The room was spacious, traditionally Italian, comfy bed and necessary blackout blind for the little one to sleep- The beach wasn’t crowded (private hotel umbrellas and sun beds) and the sea was very warm and clear. My four month old had his first swim in the hotel pool, which was such a delight and the lifeguard went to every effort to make sure we had sunloungers in the shade. The restaurant is fabulous- excellent food, great wine list and child friendly (although not many noisy bambino’s were there). Can’t recommend this wonderful family run hotel enough and if you want style, comfort and an easygoing holiday away in the Italian sunshine, this is the place to go. See you next year!
