My husband, brother and I were so fortunate to have found such a beautiful place to stay in for our week in Bellagio September 2013. The apartment is absolutely delightful- quirky, not corporate bland. Loved the attic bedroom!
The view from the front deck is mesmerizing- you could never tire of it. 
The position is ideal as the elevation gives wonderful views and is still handy to everything, including great inns and trattorias.
Lake Como is magical and it was lovely having such a comfortable base from which to explore.
Since returning home to Australia, we have sung the praises of this beautiful apartment to everyone! Anna- the owner- was so welcoming and we would love to return. Our travel was in 2013 but date choices below do not accommodate this.

We stayed in August 2012 in this wonderful apartment. It's a short (5-10 min) walk from the centre of Bellagio. It's up a hill, but that's why you get the wonderful views. Bellagio itself is a lovely town and definitely the best place to base yourself for exploring Lake Como. It is large enough to have a good variety of shops and places to eat, while still small enough to have that 'little lakeside town' feel.

The apartment's owner, Anna, communicated with us prior to arrival and answered emails quickly. She even took us to the supermarket in her car when we arrived so we could pick up some essentials! 

The apartment is a modern block and is on two floors. The bottom floor has the living room/kitchen and balcony, along with the bathroom. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with two beds.The whole place is really clean and the block felt like an upscale apartment block.

The kitchen isn't huge but plenty big enough for a week's stay. There is a fridge and cooker and all the utensils you'll need. The bathroom has a modern shower.

All in all, the apartment is really spacious for a couple and would easily suit a family. 

Everyone who comments on the views from the balcony are correct - one of the best views of the lake we encountered on our holiday. It was lovely being able to sit on the balcony and just take in the view.

In summary, this is a fantastic apartment in Bellagio and a wonderful place to either just sit and relax or head off exploring Lake Como. We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for an apartment near to the centre of Bellagio, in a quiet spot, and want really great views, then this is the place. The apartment is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bellagio, slightly up a hill. It has 2 balconies and the views from one of these is just superb; the Lecco side of the lake in all its glory. The balcony is big enough to fit a table and a couple of chairs and have breakfast on to enjoy the views. The apartment itself is nice and spacious, has everything you'd need for a stay and is very clean. The owner, Anna Terruso, is a lovely lady and is keen for you to have a pleasant stay. The booking process is slightly odd, via Alessandro Sancassani, but works well enough and having used it, it's not a scam (such a shame that the suspicions of one person on this site have affected the property's overall grading). We really loved this place and hope to return soon.

My husband and I stayed in apartment from May 20th thru May 27th. If you look for real vacation you should stay in Casa Alegra. The apartment has everything you need to have breakfast, cook dinner, and entertain another 10 guests. We did not find better view around Bellagio and neiboughring towns then the one from the balcony of this apartment - it is simply fantastic! Anna, the owner, stays in the apartment on the ground floor and her suggestions for eating in Bellagio were simply exceptional -- be aware that you need to make reservatioons for the Fri-Sun ahead of time. The places recommended by Anna are not touristy, many locals go there. She is very lovely, intelligent person.BTW, she is the daughter of very famous italian painter Saverio Terruso. His wonderful works decorate the walls of the apartment and make the place very special. If you travel with the car you wouldn't have any problems parking near the apartment complex. It is 15 min easy walk to the center of the town. Great pizzeria, fruit store, and the bank are just around the corner.  To reach the supermarket you need to have a car - 5 min driving. Anyway, there are a couple very good 'gastronomias' where you can buy prepared food and heat it up at home. We did it a few times. The apartment is so enjoyable that you may not want to go eat out all the time --you feel at home there. Anna speaks very good English and she is a great help. We both have problems with the lower back -- it is important that the bed upstairs is very good. The matrasses on the first floor of the apartmnent were not good for us, they are too hard and thin, however, it may be good for other people. Overall, we'll recommend this place to all our friends, and, will come back if ever in Bellagio.

We stayed in this accommodation for 7 nights in August 2011. The apartment could not have been better! Anna was unbelievably helpful, but not at all intrusive. She even drove us to the supermarket and the beach so we didn't have to wait for the public transport! As for the apartment, it was in a perfect location - a short and lovely stroll to Bellagio centre and absolutely INCREDIBLE views over the lake. The apartment had everything we needed, very clean and very homely. We would recommend this place to everybody! Brilliant.
