From the moment we walked in, the gentleman was very warm and welcoming. It is a very old property built in 1793 and has been a hotel the entire time. I felt at home right away. Our room was very large, it opened up to the Piazza Alfieri. The only thing we had a problem with was the flat pillows, but then most of the hotels in Italy have flat pillows. The restaurant was busy both nights we stay there and we enjoyed two wonderful meals. I was most happy to see Bonet on the dessert menu, as this is a dessert that my Great Grandmother used to make and our family continues to make, she was from Montafia which is not far from Asti. It was a very nice stay and would love to return,
