Location is everything and using Gilbert Ferret or via Cavour you reach the harbour two ways or all the restaurants and along the bastioni, we were prepared for the steep stairs going up to the property from previous reviews, the roof top view is worth it !! Breakfast is more than enough made by the lovely Cristina it will keep you energised for day be it cold meat , boiled egg or a Cornetto pastry with delicious fruit and yogurt. The wonderful thing is the problem solving, Gabriele will tell the best things to do and resolves any issues immediately. Host is a real class act even he remembered my wife’s birthday and brought her a little gift or when we were leaving and couldn’t make breakfast he packed something for us and kids to take to the airport. I also liked that even though the town had a one day water shortage issue he had arranged a reserve supply so we could have nice showers after being at the beach. I would say the place has all the basics you need if you are out and about most days. It was a pleasure to stay there and they make you feel like part of the family! Grazie Mille ! Top tip: Make use of the local bus from Mercato outside Swarovski to Spaggio di Maria Pia beach, B&B provides beach umbrella and straw mats and get your little bits for lunch and waters from EuroSpin near Giardini Giuseppe Manno park !
