Great Location! The old town and several beaches (bus stop is close) are very close! The owners are very nice and everything was included (coolbox, umbrella, kitchen, fridge).
The room and bathroom were very clean!
Best apartment ever! I loved it.

Me and my mom should stay at L'Ambra but the booking site "easytobook.com" forgott to send a email to us that the B&B was over booked. The staff helpt us so we got a new B&B. 
L'Ambra has seaview, it takes just 2 minutes to go to the beach, 10 minutes to the town. They rent bikes just two floors down! 
It was sad that me and my mom couldn't stay there because it seemed like to be a very good living and like I said, the staff was very kind and service oriented!
Next time I'm in Alghero I will book a room there! 

My girlfriend and I stayed at L'Ambra for 3 nights at the end of April. The apartment is just across the road from the beach - a sandy beach with spectacular sunset views - and is on the fourth floor. Note - no lift! We were given a warm welcome and felt at home for the duration of our stay. It was spotlessly clean, and very peaceful and secure.  Breakfast was different each day and set us up for the morning - breads, croissants, meats, yoghurt and fruit, juice, teas and coffee. The apartment is well located - the bus from the airport drops off more or less outside and it took about 15 mins to walk to the centre of the town area where there are plenty of great restaurants and bars to choose from.  We moved on to Rome after our stay here but if we'd had to return straight home we wouldn't have felt short changed - we had a lovely stay at L'Ambra and will recommend it to our friends.

Location is great, very close to the town public beach, however, the beach itself is not that great...it actually smelled while I was there...I was told it is a particular seaweed...the room is clean and small, toilet facilities large. The premises actually fit perfectly for a bigger group of friends as they share a common kitchen and a terrace with a gorgeous sea view...watching sunset from there was really worthy...even for a single person with a glass of wine...

I stayed here for 1 night in September.  My bedroom (which was spacious and clean) was up 3/4 flights of stairs (I can't remember exactly).  It seems all the rooms are on the top floor of an apartment block.  The shared bathroom was next door to my bedroom.  I arrived late and left early the next morning.  This type of accommodation suited my needs that night and it cost me  EUR30.  The bus stop to the airport is only a few minutes walk away.  If I was staying in Alghero for a few nights this would not be my choice of accommodation.  I stayed here at the end of my trip to Sardinia.  At the beginning of my trip, I stayed in Alghero for a couple of days and stayed in a hotel which was more my cup of tea & offered far more.  More privacy, more facilities and more value for money.  I got a great deal which didn't cost me much more than my night in L'Ambra.  However, this accommodation served its purpose for the few hours I stayed there that night.
