We planned our stay in Casalbordino just as a stop on our way north of Italy... We regret now that we did not plan a longer stay. Il Tremolar della Marina was even more than we expected. It is a very cozy and fresh house surrounded by trees and the noise of crickets. It is so nice, that we faced the dilemma of staying here or going to the beach. The family that runs it is very kind and ready to answer all your questions and help you in any way. We got a very nice room on the second floor with a nice terrace facing the sea, which is just 8 or 10 minutes away walking. The room is comfortable and very clean. Although there is a road passing in front of the house, we did not have any trouble sleeping. In the morning, before a delicious breakfast, we took a walk up the hill, through the vineyards and olive trees, where we met Cesare "Il Postino," a retired man that grows grapes, olives and truffles. He gave us a bag full of grapes and told us about the region and the seasons. The beach is nice. I still have trouble accepting private beaches, but the public ones were ok, especially since the staff lent us a nice umbrella. In summary, I can definitely recommend Il Tremolar della Marina. A wonderful place with kind people and surrounded by beautiful nature.
