We returned last night night from a lovely two night weekend at the Ma'ayan Ba'midbar Country Inn at Kibbutz Yahel. The rooms are basic, as expected, but meticulous and very comfortable, with lots of hot water in the shower and with a kitchenette equipped with the basic provisions and a fridge. Laurie, the manager, is perky, über friendly and most personable, and she couldn't do enough to cater to all of our needs. She's did everything to make our stay perfect. The setting of the Inn is in the middle of the Arava Desert, far from civilization, and as such, allows a break from the hustle-bustle of the fast life, with the most glorious clear view of the stars and the most relaxed ambiance. We most highly recommend this place for a feeling of home away from home.
