Cloneen

We returned in August for our third visit to Cloneen for another great holiday.  The hosts, Neil and Maria, once again gave us a warm welcome.  We were somewhat apprehensive about going away in light of Covid 19 but we felt very well taken care of here.  We enjoyed a variety of really excellent breakfasts during our stay.   Social distancing  and hand sanitising were in place in the dining room.  We spent time in our favourite locations such as Tramore Beach and Dunmore East while also visiting new places including Hook Head in Wexford.  We love to visit Tramore and Cloneen is a most relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

Along with our room fitting our needs perfectly, we had the pleasure to visit with Neal and get his recommendation for dinner that evening. He also helped us navigate to our next stop! We had great weather in the morning which allowed us to walk down to the coast and enjoy the fresh ocean air.  Very nice stay!

We did and we loved it! Neil & Maria were warm and friendly, their home was beautiful and the surrounding town and neighborhood were great. We walked right down to the wild Atlantic ocean, past churches and lovely homes and had a wonderful dinner at The Vet and drinks at The Vic. We went off-season so the crowds were few but would definitely come back during high-season for the fun of it. Our hosts even had water bottles on the night stands (you know Americans and our water bottles :)).

We’ve spent a night in the Cloneen B&B during our stay in Tramore and were very happy with our stay.
The hosts were super welcoming and very helpful and offered great tips and advice on getting around in Tramore. Rooms were large and immaculate clean. 
Breakfast was delicious. My 7-year-old son loved the pancakes! Maria’s banana bread was very tasty, and we kept wanting to go back for more. 
Overall a very pleasant stay, excellent value for money, and we will definitely return!

We stayed with our two young children in late August for four nights. We had a lovely large family room with three beds, lots of light and space. The breakfast every morning was so tasty with lots of home made treats. The B&B is located in a lovely quiet area beside the stunning Doneraile walk with magnificent views of Tramore Bay.  Both Neil and Maria are so welcoming and calm. Looking forward to a return visit. 

Having stayed here last year for one night, my daughter and I were back again for two nights. Once again, our room was great - spotless, tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Breakfast was excellent - the best pancakes and banana bread, homemade bread etc. The location is perfect; in a quiet street but just a short stroll via the picturesque Doneraile Walk into town. As I said in my review last year 'You would not find better in a four-star hotel'. Neil and Maria are great hosts - thanks again.

Such a beautiful B & B in a beautiful location. The home is so incredibly well kept. We felt more like we were visiting a friend than visiting a B & B. The breakfast was delicious as well. I wish we could have stayed longer. 

Stayed for just one night. Would highly recommend this b&b. We will definitely stay when we go to tramore again. Neil and Marie were so nice and friendly as was Michael , Marie's brother who was visiting. The room was just perfect with seating area and our own veranda. I can't say enough about the breakfast, esp the homemade brown bread and fruit loaf, everything was delicious. Such a variety of breakfasts to choose from. The bonus was just being beside Donneraile Walk with amazing views across Tramore Bay .
