Just back from a wonderful week in the West made all the more enjoyable with a Stay at Mannin Lodge. Bernie has such an incredible attention to detail, it really added to the wonderful experience we had staying at Mannin’s. The B&B is so clean and really cosy with lovely decor. 

We booked the B&B because of its locality and the great breakfast reviews on TripAdvisor. Our expectations were truly exceeded, fresh strawberries, smoked salmon, fruit salad, cheese, homemade scones and even more. 

We had a such a great stay here and would recommend Mannin Lodge without a shadow of a doubt.

Spent 3 nights here very recently, Bernie and Sean are excellent hosts and looked after us very well. The B&B is absolutely first class, our rooms were huge with a massive comfortable bed to and en suite.Breakfast each morning was plentiful and a great choice with even salmon which my good lady took a great shine to with the scrambled egg,little things that make any stay enjoyable.

We had reached that point in the day when the time had come to find somewhere to stay for the night. Mannin Lodge was there for us. Tea and scones were offered on arrival in the communal lounge where there was a peat fire burning. The room was clean with all amenities that may be required present and we slept well. Breakfast was very tasty. Somewhere to aim for if you're touring the west coast of Ireland.

The room is very big and has a seating area like a full suite.  The owner was so helpful and welcomed us with lots of information about eateries and walks and tours in the local area.  She kept the heating on when it was cold, knowing we had come from Malaysia and laid out tea and coffee in the lounge that we could help ourselves too.  A real Irish welcome which my husband and I appreciate so much taking into consideration that the owner had a family member ill at this time.  I highly recmmend this place, the room was really spacious.

We had a room downstairs that was very spacious.  The rooms are not that sound proof so the bathroom noises can be heard across the walls.  I didn't mind this but our colleague was disturbed by our bathroom.  The hosts are extremely helpful and gracious and the rooms are very clean.

We arrived in the Mannin Lodge at about 4pm and was warmly welcomed by the owner and checked in and shown our room.The room was fine .There is a hotel within 4 mins walking distance where we went for a few drinks that night after we had first eaten in Dowds of beautiful  Roundstone which is about 15 mins away by car.The bed was very comfortable .The breakfast was great and wholesome.Even smoked salmon and brown bread and scones if you wanted.What more would you want.I would highly recommend this B&B.

Nice house.uunfortunatly I was put in an attic room above a living room.children woke me up crying and making a lot of noise they were below my bedroom.im a mum of 3 and a teacher this was not what I needed on my holidays. The host bernie was reasonably OK when I complained but her chef took over and actually said people like me and my friends 6 others staying at 80 euro a night were not people who should be staying.he actually insulted my friends.i left then and was still charged full price.if you go there don't let them put you in the attic above sitting room.why couldn't kids and dad stay in there own room.very bad experience for me and friends.why was chef allowed to harass me.very weird.
