Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a stunning, immaculate home away from home! My husband and I stayed there on our recent trip to Ireland, for our first evening, and our last before departing for the airport. It is very convenient to Dublin Airport, and the town of Swords, with a mall, shops and restaurants. We have visited Ireland 10 times over the years, and can honestly say Rose Cottage is one of our very favorite places to stay. Dominika our hostess was very welcoming and personable. On our return visit, we met Dan who was also a fine host. The decor at this B&B is tasteful, and very well planned out. Every detail was perfect, even with a coordinating tissue box in the rooms! to match the decor. The beds were beautifully dressed, and very comfortable. The bathrooms were modern with walk in showers, so appreciated by older guests! Unlike most B&B's we have visited over the years, Dominika has a very clever system in each room, with foods and beverages hidden in stylish cabinets, or sliding door wall units. A lovely selection of pastries, hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereals and breads are provided along with various beverages and coffee and tea making facilities. All utensils and plates etc, are arranged very nicely, and you can access these items at any time! This is such a clever idea. We were very impressed with the creativity that went into planning something like this! The neighborhood location was very quiet and peaceful, with a lovely small back yard, visible from the rooms... What a fine oasis after a long day of traveling! The price was very reasonable for surrounding so elegant. Bravo to Dominika and Dan for such a wonderful job with this establishment. We will look forward to visiting again on a future trip to Ireland!
