A spacious apartment with everything we needed in an absolutely stunning location.  We could eat dinner looking through our patio doors at the beautiful lake and its islands.  The view point was just steps away.
Central Killarney is just a short drive away and while it is fabulous we were pleased to get away from it all the end of the day.  So many beautiful attractions are close by we felt we had an amazing base.  In 2 weeks we didn’t get to see everything and so hope to be back next year.
Highly recommended.

Stayed at Arbutus Lodge from 5th to 11th September. These apartments are situated on Aghadoe hill, a short drive from Killarney town. The views from the apartments are spectacular. Host was welcoming and helpful. Apartments are really spacious, spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated. Very well equipped  with  every modern convenience, plenty of pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, full oven and hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, hairdryer,  clothes horse, flat screen TV with lots of channels, comfortable sofa and armchairs, brilliant shower, lots of hot water, everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. There are washing and drying facilities in the building. The apartments are warm and cosy, safe and secure. The building and gardens are immaculately kept. Plenty of parking space in the yard. Brilliant  value for money. Looking forward to staying there again when visiting beautiful  Killarney. 

  



These apartments are a super place for a staycation close to the centre of killarney. The apartment comes equipped with everything you need for a stay. The pictures online are nothing like the modern new apartment that we stayed in and we were pleasantly surprised. Don't be swayed by the pics online as these apartments are so modern. A maximum ten minute drive to killarney town centre. Local supermarket close by. Would definitely stay here again. 

Lovely apartments which are close to Killarney, stayed for two nights, apartments were nice and clean also fully equipped. Staff were friendly. Would be happy to recommend. Also the views located around the apartments are stunning. 

We booked in to one of the apartments because of a house move. We expected to be here for a couple of weeks but we were delighted to be able to extend our stay to six weeks.
The view from here of the magical lakes of Killarney is stunning so much so that visitors to Killarney are bussed here daily to be blown away by the stunning scenery.
Arbutus Lodge apartments are a comfortable warm and welcoming oasis of peace and tranquility....the perfect haven after touring the amazing County of Kerry.
You can stay in this unique setting without breaking the bank.
It is great value for this outstanding location. Another bonus is that the five star Aghadoe Hotel is within metres of this complex where good food and drinks can be enjoyed.
Michael is a very welcoming host  at Arbutus Lodge Apartments and has a thousand stories to tell.
We were sad leaving but have made a lasting friendship.

staying for a week and we are very impresed..god lost but Michael was there to meet us and made us very welcome..apartment pleasant  views gogeous and it was very well equipped. cant really fault it and i would definately return dv again. hosts very helpful and i felt totally relaxed .

Really affordable, clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment. Just under an hours walk into town or a short drive. We had bikes so the distance was no issue and the place is a great base for cycling the Gap of Dunloe and surrounding area without having to go via Killarney town. If you are getting a taxi from Killarney we paid €11 and not €25 as one reviewer highlighted! Would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed for 3 nights in early August and realy enjoyed our time at this easy to find location just outside the town. The apartment was good with all mod cons for 2 people. Our host Michael was first class and we would highly recommend this value for money apartment. If you need to chill out in confort with no hassle then look no further that the Arbutus Lodge Apartments

I booked to stay for two nights of a week long trip. Unfortunately it had to come to an end as I was in a car accident. The rest of the accommodation I booked around ireland were happy to provide a full refund and were very understanding . Arbutus advised I would get a refund minus 30% as per booking.com policy but if they could get the room re-rented out I would get the full refund. I was more than happy with this. Booking.com were also understanding and advised me to ask for cancellation cost to be deferred due to exceptional circumstances. I checked the nights we were meant to stay and seen that it had been re-rented out but I heard nothing further from the host, very disappointed and needless to say I did not receive the full refund. If I do return to Kerry again I would not stay here.

Disappointed 

Very disappointed in this apartment. Looked nothing like photos on booking website... chalet type accomodation with very dated worn furniture, musty smelling rooms, dark kitchenette, charges for electricity  usage comes out of security deposit.. didnt stay one night even thou we booked  and paid for 3 nights;  15 min car drive from killarney city centre( taxi fare 25 euro) or any shop,  next door to aghadoe hotel and spa, only good thing was the views... would need a car,
