The Twelve Oaks

We stayed here for two nights. The rooms and especially the bathroom were spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast was the best we ever got on our tour. But the warm-hearted and friendly manner of our hosts was the most impressive experience for us.

The Twelve Oaks was without a doubt the best B&B we stayed in during our recent trip around Ireland. The room is spacious with a nice ensuite bathroom. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is delicious with different options ranging from healthy cereals and homemade bread to sweet or hearty treats.

Furthermore the B&B is conveniently located to explore the Ring of Beara and the Ring of Kerry. On the other hand it is just a short walk away from the center of Kenmare.

But what made it really special was the hospitality of our host Anne-Marie. She and her husband know the area very well and are more than happy to share some suggestions to explore the beautiful landscape. When my friend wasn´t feeling very well one day she made sure she had everything she needed and even offered me a ride to town. Thanks to her suggestions I spend a lovely day by myself exploring what Kenmare had to offer.

I hope to return to the area soon and hope I can stay at Twelve Oaks again. 

I really can´t think of anything negative to mention. There is even an outdoor sitting space for the guests. If you would really press me to name any possible improvement it would just be that some additional trays for storing in the bathroom might be helpful, maybe an additional shelf. But this is really neglectable.

My sister and I stayed at Twelve Oaks last week, and can’t say enough great things about the place! Anne Marie and Liam are great hosts, their B and B is so nice and our room was very large en suite. If we get back to Kenmare, we’ll stay there again.

The rooms were comfortable ,clean,wonderfully quiet and well appointed. Our very welcoming hosts served us with a generous, high quality, home cooked breakfast. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

I have had the pleasure of staying here twice recently for work. Liam and Anne Marie have a beautiful home in a great location, just outside Kenmare. They made me so welcome and were extremely helpful and informative. My room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely en suite and a walk-in wardrobe, and the breakfast was fabulous. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to my next visit. 

We spent two lovely nights with Annemarie, the house is beautiful, excellent breakfast, the house is walking distance into Kenmare. I would have no hesitation recommending this wonderful five star accommodation, Dolores

I turned up late out of the blue on a Saturday night, as I was unable to book on line.
The house and room were superb and Liam and Anne marie are fantastic hosts.
They also arranged alternative accommodation for me several days later at short notice when they were fully booked.

This B&B is located just outside Kenmare. It is a new building and has large rooms with walk in closet and beautifully decorated bedroom and bathroom with jet tub and separate shower. Our room also had a sofa to relax on instead of laying on the bed. There was a tea and coffee station set up. The lady who owned it was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty. Beds were comfortable.

Best B&B during our Ireland trip

First class Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful B&B

Having stayed at another B&B in the area the night before which was fully booked on our second night, we were delighted to find Annemarie and Liam's lovely, comfortable and modern accommodation. 
We were very warmly welcomed and offered tips and a map for a day trip around the breathtaking Béara Peninsula. 
Our room was lovely - brand new and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and walk in wardrobe area. 
The location is lovely, just a couple of miles from the town centre and on the road between Killarney and Kenmare. 
Breakfast was really tasty! 
Annemarie and Liam are lovely people and wonderful hosts and we felt so welcome in their gorgeous home. Their beautiful little girl Ava is a real character and made us chuckle!
