The Courtyard Guesthouse

Define 5 out of 5 for The Courtyard. Joe is a star. Such a warm and friendly welcome and nothing was any trouble in getting sorted. Rooms were fabulous and breakfast was excellent. So glad we stayed here and will be back next time. Would recommend to stay here if you are in the area

We stayed here after we booked into the medieval banquet at Bunratty castle and it’s a really nice place to stay.  From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by Joe who’s friendly and a great host, the rooms and they had a great en-suite with a shower and bath.  Joe made a fantastic breakfast the next day (although I was a little delicate from the night before so couldn’t eat much) the B&B is walking distance to Bunratty castle and folk park which was great and has plenty of bars for you to visit.  We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard B&B. Joe was a fabulous host. Contacting him directly to book the room secured a very reasonable rate. 
The interior of the B&B was modern, and our room/ensuite were spacious and clean. We left with full bellies after a full Irish breakfast, made to order.

The Courtyard B&B was much nicer than we anticipated.  Our bedroom was very spacious and clean.  There was a very nice sitting room to enjoy.  Joe made us a great breakfast with many choices.  He is super friendly and a great host.  We enjoyed our stay, even though it was for only one night.

Bunratty Courtyard Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay in Bunratty. Joe makes the best full Irish breakfast we had in our entire tour of Ireland including 4 star hotels. Our room was spacious and had all the modern conveniences including the ability to make your own Irish tea in your room and a VANITY.  It is a short walk to the Bunratty Village which was one of our favorite sites to visit. When you are in the area, be sure to book, here. 

A clean, nice & quiet place to stay in if you're looking for a peaceful stay. Joe's hospitality was superb from the moment we checked-in till the very end providing useful advice & freshly cooked breakfast.

Ideally situated, about 400 yards from the Castle, still sufficiently away from the main road to offer a quiet environment. Quite a nice building, very well maintained, fine breakfast - and many thanks to Joe’s hospitality from check-in to check-out. 
The price is simply unbeatable at around 100€ B&B.

Great guest house with renovated rooms . John the proprietor is very nice and the property is excellent and just down the street from Bunratty Castle . Breakfast looked delicious but we had such an early flight , we could not eat . Highly recommended and you can get a pint at Dirty Nelly’s

Excellent accommodation.  Joe is a wonderful host.  Genuine person loves a good chat.  Breakfast cooked to order. Room was lovely.   Highly recommend.  Lovely pub/restaurant next door.  Walking distance to bunratty Castle. 

I stayed with Joe for a number of nights. He was welcoming, accommodating and a great conversationist. He made me the most beautiful breakfast every morning. I highly recommend this place, you will feel at home instantly.

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN BUNRATTY IRELAND

A very good surprise!

Bunratty is a relaxing haven in the middle of a bustling trip.  Joe at the Courtyard makes you feel so welcomed. The rooms are perfect. The breakfast is outstanding. Joe made recommendations for dinners & made the reservations for us. He also gave us directions for our day trips. At the end of the day we always felt we were arriving home.
Early in our trip my daughter & her husband were with us. My daughter wants to go back because Joe was so pleasant. Near the end of our trip we had a choice of where to spend our second last night & chose Bunratty because of Joe. I highly recommend the Courtyard Guesthouse.

One of the Best

My family and I stayed here for two nights and would highly recommend the Courtyard. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with newly remodeled bathrooms and lots of parking.  Fantastic value, central location within walking distance to everything and so quiet at night. 
Breakfast was amazing and the host/owner could not have been better. Thank you for a great stay Joe and we will definitely be back on our next trip!

Outstanding!

Stay here for one night the day before we visited Bunratty Castle.   We stayed in 6 places during our drive through Ireland.  This was our most favorite.   If I'm in the area
again, this will be the first place I look up.

It's a great value, great location, plenty of parking, spacious rooms with newly remodeled bath rooms, very nice common areas, a very impressive breakfast and a wonder host/proprietor.

Best of all stays while in Ireland

I recently stay at the Courtyard B&B and I loved everything about it.  The owner and operator Joe was fabulous and gracious..   He made my stay great, breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.  The location was perfect, Bunratty has an old castle and several great restaurants to visit.  I would definitely stay here again.

Great home away from home

Stayed for 3 nights at the Beautiful Courtyard B&B,It was the most amazing stay,All our rooms were recently refurbished to a really high standard from start to finish with lovely new carpet throughout and brand new bathroom on suite in each of our rooms,Location allowed us to visit the Cliffs of Moher and all the beautiful area around bunratty,Breakfast was a wonderful treat with all local produce for our freshly prepared breakfast from the locally sourced Bacon and Sausage,to the yogurts and fresh fruit,Joe and his staff could not do enough for our family group,Overall a fantastic experience,We will be back later in the year 5 *

A Fantastic experience ☘️

First the place is exactly what you would expect when you think of a cottage B&B in Ireland. Joe was just amazing. We got to the B&B early and Joe welcomed us in and made us breakfast. He remembered our order the entire time we were there and made it perfectly every time. 
Joe gave us great directions and even drew us a map anytime we went out. He printed us the bus schedule, explained which one to get on, even the one for on the way back. 
The day we left he gave us directions and helped us find the best route and easiest route to our next stop. 
Absolutely recommend!!
