This return visit was as special os the first time we came, 7 years ago! Moira and Michael made us feel so welcome, it was like coming home to family. Their home is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Thank you for our beautiful stay. Michele and Donal 💜

We had the pleasure of staying in Anam Cara Manor in Enniscorthy. Room spotless and beautiful. Breakfast was top class, quiet close to the town house in beautiful setting. Lovely personal touch by Moira and Michael highly recommend.

Second trip to Anam Cara, stayed three nights. Wonderful visit. Attention to detail second to none! Luxurious but felt comfortable helping ourselves to tea and coffee in the kitchen! Moira and Michael friendly, welcoming great cooks and ‘available ‘  to answer any questions. Want to also mention Rose, lovely lady and how you can make up the GIANT beds so quickly baffles me, everything spotless! Will be back soon....I hope. Robert and Iris Elliot

Anam Cara was the first stop on our driving holiday around Ireland and we quickly realised nothing else would top this. Our room was beautiful,  very large with a huge comfy bed. The whole house was tastefully decorated but with a homely feel. Breakfast was delightful.  But the best thing was our lovely hosts who gave great recommendations of places to see . They were truly welcoming.  Would love to go back.

Myself and my fiancee came to stay down for a couple nights and from the second we walked in the gate we were taken aback with how fantastic everything looked, Moira, the lady of the house was the first to greet us and she is such a kind and genuine woman, making sure we had everything we needed, giving an in depth tour of the house and even offering to drive us into town on more than one occasion,  the first morning we went down for breakfast we didn't know what to expect,  we had ordered the full Irish for breakfast the day before,  the breakfast room was beautifully set up and spotless with a lovely view of the front lawn and nearby countryside, we were given a fresh fruit salad before breakfast (neither myself of my fiancee would be big into fruit salad) but they looked lovely and were well presented. The full Irish and an endless amount of tea followed and once again they did not disappoint, the food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was simple but complimented the plate. The room we had was absolutely beautiful,  tv on the wall, a very large yet comfortable bed and a big walk in wardrobe available for use, everything was so clean and welcoming. I cannot fault anam cara at all and I cannot recommend it highly enough,  moira and Michael do a fantastic job and they were so friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be returning next time I'm down this end of the country!

We felt spoiled in our gorgeous, immaculate, large room. Decor throughout the house was elegant and inviting, and attention was given to every detail to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Peaceful grounds within walking distance of town. By far the best accommodation of our 12 days in Ireland. If you are visiting the area don't miss the chance to stay here.

We had a glorious two-night stay at Anam Cara for the Literary Festival. The house is lovely, immaculately decorated and clean, and perfectly set within a lovely plot of land by a little winding stream.
The pictures of the rooms on their website barely do justice to the rooms. They are properly luxurious and spacious, more like a five-star hotel than the normal fare you find in a B&B.
Breakfast was smashing.
By far the best thing about Anam Cara are the guesthouse's owners, Moira and Michael. We were made to feel like visiting old friends rather than paying guests. There is no doubt that when we revisit Wexford (to search for ghosts and lost treasure perhaps!) we will make this B&B our base.

The welcome was excellent and set the scene for a most memorable few days particularly as we were visiting for a bereavement in our family. We had two rooms and the standard was equal to any five star hotel. Moira and Michael were super hosts thoughtful and friendly without being intrusive. The beds were fantastic, breakfast excellent and attention to detail was evident throughout the whole place. All rooms were  of a similar standard and we had the freedom of the kitchen when we wanted tea and coffee.We travel a lot and this rates as being one of the best places we have stayed at. Really good value. Local produce used and supplied by O’Neills in the town. Photography on line is extremely accurate, what you see is what you experience.Thank you and we look forward to returning. 

My boyfriend and I were planning a trip to Ireland for a friend’s wedding. The designated hotel for wedding guests was already all booked up, so we searched for alternative places. Reading the excellent Anam Cara reviews, we decided that we would book our 4 nights there. Prior to our stay, Moira had reached out to us to upgrade our room for the same cost given our longer stay with them. She was prompt in her responses, and even shared information about places for laundry. 

We arrived around 8:15pm after a long day of traveling, and Moira was very warm and welcoming, showed us around the home, as well as even starting a frozen pizza for us since we hadn’t eaten for most of the day, which she didn’t have to do but we were more than appreciative!! The home was beautifully decorated, and the bedrooms were clean, elegant, and spacious. Every morning, Moira had prepared a delicious breakfast for us, whether it was a full Irish or smoked salmon and eggs. We looked forward to our breakfast experience each morning. She even accommodated to my boyfriend’s request of a mix of both! 

We didn’t necessarily plan out each day, and Moira and her husband, Michael, suggested various places to visit based on their location or the amount of time we had (picture was from our first adventure they suggested to Hook’s Lighthouse). They gave us information about these places that you wouldn’t find in a traveler’s book. We were not disappointed in their suggestions, and we wished we had more time to do more! After the wedding, Moira offered to drive us to our car the next morning after taking a taxi back late the previous night. 

We had booked our last two nights in a different city at a generic hotel that appeared clean online, however, on many occasions, my boyfriend and I discussed how we appreciated Anam Cara and wished we were back there! We would highly recommend this B&B for anyone searching for a charming and engaging Ireland experience!

We stayed at Anam Cara for three nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and the hosts, Moira and Michael, are lovely.  We stayed in the Mountain View room with the largest bed I have ever slept in.  Everything about our room and the house is tastefully decorated, furnished and spotless. Breakfast is served in a lovely guest dining room and the food, especially the fruit and yogurt parfait was delicious and the homemade brown bread is gorgeous.
The house is situation on the edge of Enniscorthy town in a tranquil spot by a river with a lovely garden.
We would definitely stay here again when we visit this neck of the woods, Oh, and their little dog Elliot is very cute too!

We had to take a trip to Wexford unexpectedly this weekend. Last minute booking with Anam Cara luxury guesthouse which was hassle free. To say it was a true Irish welcome is an understatement. This guesthouse puts new meaning into the word, absolute luxury and taste throughout.A friendly welcome. Beautiful grounds. Adjacent to Enniscorthy within a few minutes by car.The rooms are superb and breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit and yogurt with a hot breakfast of choice. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.
