Very comfortable bed, spacious room, beautiful beach view.  Staff extremely friendly and very obliging.  Very clean hotel, lovely little village.  Also house keeping staff were awesome thanks again joanne for all you do. Till the next time bye for now

The photos don’t really do the hotel justice. It’s clean and perfect for a few nights stay. Super friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast is also amazing - so much choice! I’ve attached some pics of the family room we stayed in. Yes there is no Wi-Fi in our room but the 4G is excellent, and there are lots of lovely lounge areas to relax in. Jimmy Brown the owner is always on hand. The bar is lively and friendly too. Perfect for our family stay.


Jimmy., the owner walks around  the bar and greets the guests like old Friends.  It's a family  run hotel that makes an effort. The hotel bar is like a normal  bar. Clinical  is not a word that could  ever describe  this hotel.familial most definitely.  

This is a homely hotel with a relaxed atmosphere in a great location close to the beach. The bar serves great food with great service. Staff are lovely! The hotel is old fashioned but I can’t fault it. Great breakfast in the restaurant and the free parking was very welcome!

All i can say is AMAZING!!!!! From the minute we booked the hotel to the time we left we couldn't fault a single thing. Nothing was to much trouble, the staff was so friendly and helpful. food on both mornings and nights was lovely and the rooms was spotless! Would highly recommend the white sands hotel and will defiantly be back to stay at the hotel again on my next visit to Ballyheigue!

Came for the weekend, and really enjoyed the hotel. 

From when we checked in everyone was so helpful and accommodating.    The room with a seaview was lovely and the adjoining bar gave us a great night on the Saturday.

Would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Currently writing this review from our hotel bedroom. I can not recommend this hotel and it’s staff enough. They went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble throughout the whole weekend.  

Food and service on both nights was amazing. Special mention for Amy & Claire on check in. Mike, Leah and all of the bar/waiting team. 

 All 3 of bedrooms were very clean when checking in.

Will definitely stay again when back in Ballyheighue

Great staff very friendly and helpful brilliant customer service. Lots of drinks at reasonable prices. Seating area great with a lovely coal fire. It's in a great area near the beach. I give it 10/10 %

Fabulous staff. Food delicious. Customers need to be patient. Difficult time for hospitality. Location perfect. Plenty of space for a family meal. Lovely sheltered outdoor area with heaters. Large TVs for sport events.

Lovely Homely Hotel. Staff very friendly. Hotel is spotless. Had food in the bar and it was delicious. Had a great time. We have friends in ballyheigue so it was lovely to be close to them too. 15 to 20 min to tralee, so it is Central enough. Beach lovely.

We stayed for a couple of nights. Old school venue that is ideally situated right next to the beach. Great breakfast each morning and nice staff. The produce used is top class and there is something for everyone on the menu. I would happily come back here again. The check in and check out process was very easy too.

We had dinner here the day we arrived in ballyhiegue ,it was lovely and the staff we so good and friendly even the bar staff, the food was good too and you where well spaced out . There is an outside dining area as well which in good weather was really busy , we didn’t stay in this hotel but looks good to put the head down , this hotel is in the centre of the town easy walking distance to the beach a minute away , great parking to the rear and very child friendly, will I be back ? YES

Very pleasant eatery with friendly attentive staff. Lunch quite good. Only issues seems to be chips and veg ( frozen?, certainly not "fresh" and a bit sparse on the greenery). Protein was good. Pleasant atmosphere and would generally recommend
