58 reviewsWe stayed at Casa Mateo 6 years ago, and then again last month. The villa location is amazing - so easy to walk to restaurants, good coffee spots, bars and day spas. Plus, a $2-3 taxi will get you where you need to be if you can't be bothered walking. The staff at Casa Mateo are second to none. They are attentive, helpful, and keep the villa looking immaculate very quietly. Highly recommend dining in a few times as the food is amazing. We had the Asian BBQ and a few breakfasts. If you're in a group there are a few different areas for people to recharge so if you need some time to yourself, but not hidden in your room, Casa Mateo is a great choice. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are luxurious.
