2 reviewsI stayed at Puri Rasa in Mas Gianyar for 5 weeks in September-October 2017. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the villas are good size and come with individual kitchens. There is a huge swimming pool there and most residents are longish term of a month or more. Puri Rasa is about 10 minutes by scooter from Ubud, on the main Mas road, however the villas are well back from the road so you get no traffic noise. There are several reasonable local Warung restaurants nearby and if you want great coffee can visit Seniman at Tona Raka Gallery which is a few minutes by scooter or maybe a 15 minute walk. My villa was cleaned 3 times per week, the staff never chase tips and will fetch water supplies etc and pass on the same price that locals pay. Yes there are a few Geckos in the villa, but this is everywhere, I don't know why people complain about them as they eat insects and roaches and don't disturb, unless they are courting a female.
